CREATEing Connections at Menlo College Real Estate Club
Menlo Real Estate Club hosted a property management panel on April 25 which featured two industry professionals involved with Three students from Menlo College are currently participating in Fellows Online and they utilized their industry connections developed through CREATE to secure panelists. BOMA Oakland/East Bay’s Karissa Obeso (seated 3rd from left) with CBRE hosted a building tour for the online fellows at her property at 2100 Franklin in Oakland. BOMA San Francisco’s Tawni Sullivan (seated 4th from left), JNT Solutions, serves as CREATE’s board chair and instructs 2 sessions in
cluding communications and teambuilding/problem solving.
The panel addressed the topics of careers in commercial property management, challenges in property management, handling and limiting liability, working with contractors and managing tenant relationships.
