CREATE Fellow Alum Named Mentor of the Year

Alexis Escaranio, CREATE Fellow Alum and Tenant Rep Associate with CBRE, was named Mentor of the Year, for her exemplary mentorship in the annual Mentor Match program. CREATE is supported by its Alliance Partners that provide additional resources to expose students to the CRE industry and build their networks. BOMA San Francisco’s Careers Committee hosts this annual program which matches current Fellows at SFSU and Merritt College with both a seasoned and an emerging professional.

As described by her mentee Michael Apolonio (SFSU), ” Alexis went above and beyond her minimum responsibility as my mentor. I checked in with Alexis multiple times a week to seek advice on resume building, networking, and professional development. She pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me realize my potential and capability to succeed. Her hard work and dedication along with the willingness to assist multiple CREATE students in the Mentor Match Program is why she should receive Mentor of The Year.”

Congratulations, Alexis and thank you for giving back to the next generation of CRE professionals.

If you would like to participate as a mentor, please contact info@createworkforce.org. The program runs for 8 weeks between March and April each year.
