Mentorship Leads to Internship

Neema Esfandiari graduated from both SFSU and the CREATE Fellows program in Spring 2023. He participated in the annual mentorship program and was paired with Vanbarton Group’s Colin Shinners, a long-time supporter of CREATE as well as an instructor of the asset management sessions. Neema applied to and was selected for Vanbarton’s asset management internship during the summer. Says Esfandiari, “During my internship, I had the opportunity to help the asset management team in all aspects and interact with the property management team. I plan on using this experience in a full-time asset management role moving forward. “
