CREATE Fellows Tour Historic Hills Plaza
As part of the Commercial Real Estate Alliance for Tomorrow’s Employees (CREATE) curriculum, student Fellows tour a San Francisco property to see first-hand what they have been learning in the classroom. This year’s tour brought over 30 San Francisco State University students to Hills Plaza (345 Spear/2 Harrison), the historic 1925 Hills Brothers plant that today is a mixed-use urban project that encompasses a full city block on The Embarcadero in San Francisco. The tour was organized by CREATE alum Marco McCartney, JLL, who graduated from SFSU and the CREATE Fellows program in 2020 and is now the Assistant General Manager at the property. A big thank you to JLL and Hal Brownstone, RPA, LEED-AP for welcoming the students and touring them through all areas of the property.
This program is sustained by monetary contributions from the industry employers that it serves. Donations support and strengthen our commercial real estate industry workforce and prepare job-ready candidates for our industry. We encourage both CRE employers and CRE professionals to donate today!
